The University Science High School notched up the top spot in the 13th Regional Inter-School Quiz Bee (RIQB) which was sponsored by the Integrated Movement for the Progressive Action towards Community Transformation (IMPACT) on September 1, 2007 at the CLSU Auditorium.



The team was composed of Amina S. Mendez, Cherry Joy F. Tumampo and Cristine Rose V. Eroles; with Engr. Carlo M. Gabriel and Mrs. Kristine A. Limbaco as coaches.

The team vied against 12 other schools during the first round to qualify for the final round where top seven teams competed for the championship.

After the first round, the team finished second as St. Mary’s College grabbed the first post.

At the end of the final round, the team secured first place while St. Mary’s College slid to second place and Bulacan State Agricultural College bagged the third place.

Areas in the RIQB include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, History and General Information.
